Event Details:

About Juneteenth: Juneteenth marks a pivotal moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, to announce the emancipation of over 250,000 enslaved Black people. This momentous day is now recognized as a federal holiday, commemorating the end of slavery and celebrating the progress toward equality.

This event is designed to honor this significant milestone, celebrate the essence of freedom, and foster a sense of community and joy.

Accessibility:

  • The event area meets ADA standards.

  • The ground is primarily flat, with no stairs or steps.

If you have any accessibility requirements or questions, please be sure to reach out and we will be happy to assist! We look forward to celebrating this important day with you. Join us for a memorable day filled with culture, history, and community spirit!
