Prior to the program there will be a march that will begin at 11 a.m. with assembly for the march beginning at 10:45 a.m. at Union Plaza Shopping Center in Barbourville.
The program will be at 11:30 a.m. in the District Court Room at the Knox County Courthouse.
A lunch will immediately follow the program at the Woolum Center, St. Gregory Catholic Church, 329 Sycamore Street.
Laurel County African American Heritage Center Inc. has put together another incredible MLK Jr. Day program you don't want to miss!
SCHEDULE OF FESTIVITIES:
Children's Program: 10am - 3pm at London Community Center
Courthouse Program: 5:15pm at Laurel County Courthouse
March to the Community Center: 5:30pm
Program at the Community Center: 5:45pm

Join Dr. George Wright, noted author and incoming Visiting Professor of History at the University of Kentucky, for an interactive webinar exploring the Black experience in Kentucky in dialogue with Judi Jennings and Sharyn Mitchell.
